OCCLUNIX® Muscular Occluder is a self-expandable, double-disc device made from precise nitinol wire mesh, designed specifically for percutaneous transcatheter closure of muscular ventricular septal defects (VSD).
The frame of the disc provides a secure foundation for the native growth of tissue. The elongated central connecting waist is custom-engineered to match the width of thick muscular walls, while three built-in polyester fabric inserts assist in prompt, immediate defect occlusion.
